Niwot High School Student Council Announces Wish Week
The Niwot Student Council in collaboration with Make-a-WishTM Colorado has created Wish Week, a fundraiser where students participate in a variety of activities to raise money to grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. Throughout Wish Week (March 2-6), the Niwot Student Council is hoping to raise money via after-school events, restaurant nights, and other in-school fundraisers. The goal is to raise $7,500, (the average cost of a wish).
This year, the Niwot Student Council Wish team is representing Isaiah, a 7-year-old from Fort Collins. Isaiah has a congenital heart disease and his wish is to go to Disney World. Throughout the week, the Niwot Student Council Wish team is planning events in collaboration with Isaiah’s favorite things, including the color blue, Disney, and the infamous Baby Shark song. They are excited to represent Isaiah and his story in hopes of supporting the work of Make-a-WishTM Colorado. The Niwot Student Council can’t do it alone. That’s where all of us come in.
Our support is integral in meeting their goal. Every donation helps. Please consider contributing to this important fundraising. To make your donation, visit http://site.wish.org/goto/Niwot2020.
