The Niwot Business Association (NBA) at their monthly meeting introduced Callie and Ernie Craumer the owners of the property located at 6924 N. 79th Street, formerly the Elysian Fields’ auction house. The Craumers introduced themselves and discussed their plans for the property, which will likely be a Marijuana cultivation and retail operation. The meeting started as an exchange of information but quickly evolved into a venting of disapproval by the members of the NBA.
Many representatives of the NCA were able to attend the closed to the public meeting. The NCA agreed to hold off on any plans until after the NBA meeting, and now that it is complete the NCA will move forward. The Craumers will work with the NCA toward the goals of:
- Conducting a public survey to gauge public opinion
- Setting up a public forum to present to the general public the details of their proposed plan
