In a letter dated March 16, 2016 the applicant, Colorado Real Estate Holdings, modified their application to be retail only, no cultivation. Here is an excerpt from the letter:
The concerns expressed by the Niwot community were mostly with respect to the cultivation component within the original proposal. The concerns that are being eliminated with the removal of the cultivation component are first and foremost odor, 24/7 hours of operation, security, and potential additional traffic and parking impacts to the area as resulting from the operations of the additional 3,330 Sq. Ft. of space.
The revised application is still expected to go before the Planning Commission at their April 20, 2016 meeting.
