NCA Annual Meeting

Because of the Covid-19 crisis, the NCA Board decided to cancel the annual meeting. We had tentatively planned to proceed with a live streaming event for NCA members to participate over the internet. Considering the severity of the COVID-19 virus and the limitations of an online meeting, we concluded that we should allow people to focus on their family and their health and cancel this year’s meeting. However, the election of NCA Board members proceeded with online and mail in forms.

Election results

Each NCA board position is a two year term and are split so that half are voted on in even years and the other half voted on in odd years. Below are the results of the 2020 even year election.

The following positions were unanimously elected.

NCA Clean Up Day

During the April Board Meeting the NCA Board weighed the viability of holding the annual Niwot Clean Up Day event, which is held at Niwot High School. We concluded that given the Colorado governor order for schools to stay closed until at least April 30, and the possibility of Governor Polis extending the stay-at-home order, we have cancelled Clean Up Day.

We recognize that this is a much appreciated event and will monitor the situation. We will make every effort to reschedule this event for the summer or fall. Stay tuned.
