The Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is announcing a new Dementia Caregiver Support Group in the Niwot area. The support group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month, starting June 7th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Niwot United Methodist Church located at 7405 Lookout Road in Gunbarrel.
The Dementia Caregiver Support Groups meet on an ongoing basis and are for family and friends who have a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia at any stage of the disease. The groups are facilitated by volunteers who are screened, trained and supervised by the Alzheimer’s Association. Support Groups are a safe place to receive support for the difficult journey of Alzheimer’s.
There is no charge for Alzheimer’s support groups and no registration is required.
